Circular economy

Since 2023, we have been consolidating our activities relating to the circular economy in a separate division.

FISCHER is a family-owned company based in Baden-Württemberg that focuses on transport logistics, soil management, demolition and building material recycling, as well as recycling and landfill solutions. Since 2025, the company has been a wholly owned subsidiary of the SCHWENK building materials group. With over 450 employees and several locations in southern Germany, the company offers comprehensive services along the material flow management chain – reliably, efficiently and responsibly.

SW Baumineralik Donau Iller GmbH & Co. KG is a joint venture between the SCHWENK Baustoffgruppe and Max Wild. The company is currently constructing a wet mechanical processing plant in Achstetten, Baden-Württemberg. Once completed, the plant will be able to process up to 250,000 tonnes of mineral construction waste per year into high-quality recycled building materials in shift operation.
