What we stand for

Sustainability

The SCHWENK building materials group has been in existence since 1847 as an original family business. For us, sustainability is not an abstract concept, but rather the solid foundation of our group of companies. This awareness of sustainability has many aspects for us: from economic growth to climate, environmental, and nature conservation—from trainees to highly specialized skilled workers.

Community & Collaboration

We are more than the sum of our parts. Thanks to our diversity and internationality, exchange and cooperation with our companies and affiliates are an important part of our strong community. Family values such as responsibility, honesty, trust, and mutual support form the basis of this.

Further education

We also focus on the development of our employees. This includes both professional qualification and personal development, e.g., with our group-wide program for promoting young talent.

Enthusiasm & curiosity

What sets us apart is our enthusiasm and curiosity for our products and processes. This is how innovations are born, and we are already developing the building materials of tomorrow today.

Safety & Health

Occupational health and safety is our top priority. We therefore invest a great deal of energy in preventive measures. The “Sicher mit System” (Systematic Safety) seal of approval reflects our fundamental approach. At some locations, occupational health management goes one step further, focusing on areas such as sports, nutrition, and communication to promote long-term health.
