The training programme begins with basic courses such as basic metalworking, welding, turning and milling. We then deepen our mechanical skills and learn how to implement technical designs. We also spend time in the various departments of the factory.
What I particularly like about being an industrial mechanic is the variety of work involved in each project, and the fact that you can apply much of what you learn at home.
We receive support in many ways, such as with studying for school. Here, everyone is helped by the trainers or older apprentices. In addition, the working environment is very motivating and informative. You learn a lot from practical experience in a very short time. Another important point is occupational safety, which is a top priority here.
