Since January 2024, three plants of SCHWENK Beton Chemnitz have also been CSC-certified.

The plants in Chemnitz-Süd and Chemnitz-Glösa have received Platinum awards, while the plant in Chemnitz-Wittgensdorf has achieved Gold.

In addition, the Chemnitz-Wittgensdorf plant has also received certification for the CO2 and R modules. The CO2 module serves primarily to create transparency regarding greenhouse gas emissions in concrete production, while the R-concrete module addresses the requirements of the circular economy and circular construction.

The R-concrete module is recognised and awarded points by various building certification bodies, such as the German Society for Sustainable Construction (DGNB). We are pleased that the certification underlines the sustainability ethos at SCHWENK and makes it visible to our partners.
