4 Gold Awards in the CSC R-Concrete Module for SCHWENK Beton Südbayern

After SCHWENK Beton Südbayern achieved a Gold CSC certification in the CO2 module for its plants in Eching, Fürstenfeldbruck, Oberhaching, and Ingolstadt in March, the plants were awarded another Gold certification in the R-Beton module in May.
While the CO2 module provides transparency regarding greenhouse gas emissions released during concrete production, the R-Concrete module addresses the markets’ growing demands for a circular economy and circular construction. Given the rising demand for certified concrete containing recycled aggregates, the R module is the ideal complement to the existing certifications.
Furthermore, the R-Concrete module is recognized by various building certification bodies, such as the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB), and is factored into the assessment through points.
