On Tuesday, November 4, 2025, career counselors from the Employment Agency in Baden-Württemberg had the opportunity to get a first-hand look at the working world of the building materials industry.

In cooperation with ISTE (Industrial Association of the Stone and Earth Industry of Baden-Württemberg), this event took place for the first time at SCHWENK’s cement plant in Allmendingen. On this day, the consultants gained interesting insights into the entire production process: from the quarry to the rotary kiln, the control room, the laboratory, and the training workshop.

There was also a presentation on the building materials industry, with specific training occupations and skilled workers reporting on their everyday work and their individual career paths at SCHWENK.
