This year, we also organized a first aid course for our first-year trainees at the Ulm, Allmendingen, and Mergelstetten locations. In addition to professional content, we offer our trainees cross-training courses. To be able to respond effectively in emergencies, both privately and at work, the following topics were covered, among others:

• Proper behavior in the event of a traffic accident
• Recovery position
• Resuscitation with and without a defibrillator
• Behavior in case of burns and poisoning.
• Behavior in case of stroke, heart attack, sunstroke.
• Wound care.

This event also helped to further expand the trainee network.
