In the area of production, everything revolves around keeping our plants running for our products such as cement, concrete, sand, and gravel. Our production facilities and fields of activity are very diverse and vary across the different divisions.

Cement plants are characterized by large facilities. Their centerpiece, the kiln, never stands still. Production monitoring is therefore maintained continuously so that immediate action can be taken in the event of malfunctions. Different facilities, various malfunctions with individual solutions, and changing working hours require flexibility. The following colleagues work in shifts:

The production of concrete, sand, and gravel is characterized by smaller plants. In addition to operating, maintaining, and repairing the plants, this also involves organizing all day-to-day business: from order acceptance and production planning to delivery. For this, we are looking for:

• Plant operator / Process mechanic
• Processing technician

Our maintenance department deals with scheduled maintenance measures and repairs throughout the entire plant. Everything is repaired here, from large production facilities to small parts in the administration building. But the whole team also pitches in when unscheduled malfunctions occur. Variety is therefore guaranteed for:

• Electrician
• Industrial mechanic

Our building materials need to be moved. That’s why we’re looking for reliable drivers with a passion for large machines and vehicles such as:

• Concrete mixer truck
• Concrete pumps

SCHWENK stands for the highest quality. To meet this standard, our laboratory technicians and testers carry out various analyses every day to ensure the quality of our building materials. But our laboratories are not just about maintaining our quality standards. We are also committed to the continuous development of our products so that we can meet a wide range of requirements. To this end, we are looking for:

• Building materials tester
• Chemical laboratory technician
• Chemist

The origin of our business lies in raw material extraction. Only when this is secured can we produce our products such as cement, concrete, sand, and gravel and provide our pumping services.

For this purpose, we are seeking:

• Construction equipment operator
• Processing technician
• Geologist
• Mining engineer

All commercial processes for the entire building materials group are handled at our headquarters in Ulm. In addition, there is a service center in Landsberg (Saale) and administrative units at larger plant locations to support local processes.

Our sales and construction consulting team ensures customer satisfaction and secures our sales throughout Germany and neighboring countries. In order to optimally meet the needs of our customers, we offer both commercial sales and application-specific construction consulting.

In addition to providing on-site support to our customers, our office staff handle a wide range of coordination tasks.

Our central IT department in Ulm ensures the functionality of all systems and thus smooth day-to-day operations in the offices and production facilities of the entire SCHWENK Baustoffgruppe. Our IT department is divided into the following areas:
